Why do people & members of congress attack Presidents over immigration legislation when Congress is the one?

responsible for creating immigration legislation?

A President can only sign it or veto it.

In whats known as the plenary power doctrine the Supreme Court has ruled that the Congressional power to regulate naturalization, in Article 1, Section 8, of the U.S. Constitution States includes the power to regulate immigration.|||Most of the attacks come from the right which means they aren't educated in politics.

These are the same people that say the 110th Democratic controlled congress caused the great recessions yet Democrats didn't have a super majority and could not over ride a bush veto.|||The president is supposed to have the best interests of the American people as his guide.

When he comes out and says what he has about Arizona's law, he is going to get backlash. My comments are not about what the function of government is, but his position on stabbing us in the back.|||He is the one who halted the border fence being built. He is also the one who is directing Holder to challenge the Arizona law. He is also the one who has the power to send troops to the border.

The laws are in place to stop illegals but Obama is choosing not to enforce them. Bush was no better.|||Because he is not enforcing laws already on the books. this is foolish because illegal immigration is a serious problem.

http://nationscrier.com/index.php?option鈥?/a>|||People are attacking the President because he wants to push immigration reforms (grant amnesty).|||Laws passed by congress are enforced by the Executive Branch|||government has failed us get that through your thick cranium!!!
