Were ppl inShays Rebellion justified in their resistance to procreditor legislation?

Why did they resort to violence rather than try to get the legislation overturned by legal means?|||Yeah I believe they were justified. The American Judicial system had not been thought about and their voices weren't being listened to. Farmers were watching as their land, livelihood, and dreams were being taken from them. The rebellion indirectly called for a stronger central government to A) protect the citizens of the newly forming country B) regulate laws and make sure everyone was being treated fairly and C) Unite the states. Some believe that it boosted the process of writing a constitution. Would the rebellion be justified in today's society? No. But in 1786 under the circumstances it is justifiable.
